saw-Cut Application
For installation in existing concrete or asphalt roads. Saw-cut loops are cut into the surface and sealed with loop sealant. If you plan to bury loops please go back and select “Direct Burial Application” to view the proper diagrams.
Notes about Bollards :
Bollards require a minimum of 2 loops to function safely as pictured in red above.
- An Inside Reverse loop or Exit Loop
- An Outside Reverse Loop
Reverse loops will reverse the raise function in automatic bollards preventing damage to vehicles, an exit loop will do everything a reverse loop does and will automatically lower bollards for vehicles to leave the property.
Optional Arming loops prevent the use of access control devices such as license plate readers, badge scanners, or ticketing machines unless a vehicle is detected or automatically raise the bollards when a vehicle is detected.
All loops must maintain a minimum of 4 feet from any moving part of the bollard.
