Notes about Slide Gates:

Slide gates require a minimum of 2 loops to properly protect the gate path as pictured in red above:

• An Inside Reverse Loop or Exit Loop
• An Outside Reverse Loop

Reverse Loops will hold the gate open, or reverse a closing gate if a vehicle enters or stops within the gate path. The inside reverse loop can be connected to the exit loop function if you desire. An Exit Loop will do everything a reverse loop does and will also open the gate automatically when a car drives over it.

If there is a long approach on the secure side of the property we recommend installing an additional exit loop further down the driveway. This will allow more time for the gate to open before vehicles reach the system. Customers will enjoy the convenience of exiting the system without having to wait for the gate to open.
